The Story

This nice condo tucked away in a quaint neighborhood with great views of Portland, Mt. St. Helens and beyond was in need of a new decorative scheme. Our client, a local business owner and motorcycle enthusiast, wanted a home that reflected his taste for quality and custom. The JBi interior designers focused on texture, pattern, clear color stories and custom elements throughout. The dining room walls are covered in a recycled polyester wall covering in a chevron pattern, centered around a custom walnut dining table and topped with a sculptural (and colorful) Spanish light fixture. Custom drapery in the living room creates a comfortable atmosphere and beautifully frames the tree-top view. A custom reclaimed wood bed is the real showstopper, however. JBi worked with a local craftsman (Joe Gibson of Revolution Design House) to implement their design. The overall design is clean, contemporary, tailored and sophisticated. Not a bad way to live.
