30th Court – Italian Stylings in a Contemporary Home

The Story

This suburban home in Vancouver, Washington was probably the talk of the town when new. Inside and out, the custom home was given details not seen in the typical suburban home. Now a couple of decades later, the home was in need of a good redesign and update. The home owners contacted JASON BALL interiors to start the process. During the early stages of the kitchen design phase, the clients conveyed the importance of staying true to their Italian roots in the design. To do this, Jason Ball used a combination of materials, colors, lighting in the design scheme to create a contemporary Italian family home. Natural stone and hammered copper are used throughout. The two fireplaces on the main level are transformed with cast concrete surrounds to mimic hand-carved details you might find in an Italian villa. Custom pendant lights and display areas for the couple’s glass art collection provide a personal touch. return to portfolio
