Residential projects on the boards at Jason Ball Interiors

Family with young children is updating their new home with a new kitchen, bathroom and all new furniture. Sometimes clients get to a point where they realize that their old furniture simply won't do in their new home. Jason Ball Interiors is working with a young family to bring in a whole new style by updating their kitchen and completely remodeling one of the children's bathrooms. A completely new decorating scheme has also been developed, bringing texture, color and fun to this family home.

Custom home's kitchen in Tigard is showing it's age and given new life. With a less than optimal floor plan, this kitchen closed off from the family room will be transformed to reflect the home's grace and style. By taking down part of a wall, the kitchen and family room are connected to create one open space. The kitchen will be given much needed details seen throughout the rest of the home's tudor stylings, but with a more contemporary feel.

Family in Orlando, Florida wants a contemporary kitchen design that reflects their style, but also maintains the home's character. Designing a home clear across the country certainly has it's challenges, but that's what makes interior design so much fun. We are designing a functional kitchen with strong contemporary lines and beautiful surfaces. The real design challenge in this project is the ceiling height - somewhere around 12 feet all through the house. Key is to minimize the height without distracting from the overall design.

Young couple in Happy Valley expecting their first child is making their new home into a perfect family home. After finding their dream home, this young couple wanted to transform the space into their own. With all new furniture, revamped kitchen and new architectural features, this traditional suburban home is getting a clean and contemporary make-over. Custom furniture, a mix of materials and sophisticated color palette will complete the transformation.

Couple in Eastmoreland gives their kitchen a much-needed facelift. It is not always necessary to completely gut a kitchen and replace everything. With a good layout and adequate lighting, this kitchen make-over consists of painting the existing cabintry, moving some appliance around and adding some in-fill cabinetry for added functionality. Part of this project involves moving the laundry closet to make way for a larger refrigerator. This type of move is relatively easy and more than pays for itself in a better layout.

Tualatin couple wants a full design plan for their downstairs to finally make their home their own. At the recommendation of another a friend (and client of JBi), this young family hired Jason Ball Interiors to create a complete design plan for the main floor of their fairly traditional home. The challenge is mixing the home's traditional architecture with the client's desire for some "funkiness." And, with two young children and a cadre of cats, the design challenges continue to pop-up. We'll be bringing in contemporary fabrics, furniture and accessories to complement the home's style.

Guest bedroom and landing in a contemporary home in Lake Oswego gets ready to receive guests. Phase 2 of an ongoing project in this home. The first phase involved completely redecorating the living room and dining room, and remodeling the fireplace wall. This phase will bring usability to an upstairs landing that has been left emty - just waiting for the right use. The guest bedroom is also getting a much needed purpose and identity with new furniture, paint and writing desk. This is all about making guests feel welcome.
